The Wildlife Cruise

Discover ancient plants and meet some of the wild animals that are home to the Daintree River area.

Our 1 and 1.5 hour cruises are an excellent way to get an overview of the wildlife and rainforest that make this river so special. We are fortunate to operate from our own privately owned property where you can board our vessels from exclusive use pontoons.

Our section of the Daintree River is listed as a World Heritage Rainforest so your cruise begins as you descend the jetty to board your boat!

Your guide will provide you with a fun and informative tour of the river, including an overview of the Daintree River and the people (old and new) who helped shape its identity.

These cruises are ideal for all, including young children. Be ready to see one of the world's most spectacular forests, learn lots and have fun!

All cruises include morning or afternoon tea (coffee, tea, cold drinks and a packet of biscuits), but feel free to pack a picnic lunch to bring with you and use our stunning picnic areas overlooking the river before or after your cruise. Aim to arrive 15 - 20 minutes prior to departure so you can enjoy our gardens, browse through the displays in our Cruise Centre and enjoy the ambience of the forest.

What a great way to spend a day!
